Since the arrival of sanfu (the dog days of summer), Xi’an has suffered sustained high temperatures, yet frontline R&D and production staff in workshops stick firmly to their posts amid blistering heat. To fully implement labor protection against high temperatures and guarantee heat relief for employees, a condolence delegation from the Shaanxi Provincial Federation of Trade Unions and Xi’an High-tech Zone Federation of Trade Unions recently paid a visit to Xi’an Chinastar M&C and launched the official. Heat-relief supplies were distributed to all on-the-job staff, bringing the heartfelt care of trade unions — known as workers’ “family” — straight to production frontlines.

The delegation emphasized that we are now in the peak hot spell of summer. Enterprises must fully shoulder primary workplace safety responsibilities, strictly enforce management rules governing high-temperature operations, rationally stagger work shifts, ensure an adequate supply of heat-prevention drinks and protective gear, and popularize first-aid knowledge for heatstroke in a timely manner, so as to fully safeguard employees’ physical health and production safety.

Meanwhile, the delegation fully recognized Xi’an Chinastar M&C’s long-term dedication to pressure and temperature sensor technologies, as well as the diligent, hardworking spirit of all staff who forge ahead regardless of extreme heat. During the on-site condolence event, the delegation brought a total of 60 cartons of heatstroke prevention goods, including purified water, herbal tea, iced black tea and other cooling beverages, alongside customized heat relief gift packs.

The delegation toured production workshops and R&D labs on site, closely inspecting ventilation and cooling facilities as well as summer workplace safety management measures. They also made detailed inquiries about frontline workers’ operating environments, work-rest schedules and the execution of high-temperature protection protocols.
