Good news from Chinastar M&C again! Authorized by the National Intellectual Property Administration, our independently developed fire hydrant anti-water-theft sensor has been granted an invention patent – A Fire Hydrant Water Theft Detection Device and Its Detection Method. To date, the total number of patents granted to our company has reached 123.

      The fire hydrant anti-water-theft sensor is mainly designed to monitor outdoor fire hydrants for water theft and detect hydrant tilting (e.g., tilting caused by vehicle collision). When the sensor detects abnormal opening of the hydrant cap, occurrence of water theft, or hydrant tilting beyond the preset threshold, the terminal triggers an alarm and transmits the alarm data to the management platform in a targeted manner. This enables maintenance personnel to obtain real-time information immediately, prevent unauthorized use of fire hydrants and facilitate timely repairs for damaged ones, thereby meeting the requirements for refined and intelligent fire management and improving overall fire management efficiency.
