Recently, a group of inspectors from the National Intellectual Property Administration (NIPA) visited Chinastar M&C to conduct practical exchange activities. A reception team composed of personnel from Chinastar M&C’s Intellectual Property Office, R&D leaders and technical experts held in-depth discussions with the inspector group on intellectual property work, and jointly explored new directions for industry innovation and intellectual property protection.
At the beginning of the exchange, Director Zhang of Chinastar M&C’s Intellectual Property Office delivered a speech first. He introduced Chinastar M&C’s development history, core business layout, representative products, as well as the company’s strategic planning and practical achievements in the field of intellectual property.
Subsequently, the NIPA inspector group visited the company’s exhibition hall accompanied by Chinastar M&C’s staff. Director Zhang of the Intellectual Property Office and General Manager Wei, Director of IoT Marketing at the Marketing Center, provided on-site explanations throughout the visit. Combining the exhibits displayed in the hall—such as pressure sensors/transmitters, IoT sensors and supervision systems, wireless sensors, and inertial sensors—they presented Chinastar M&C’s technological achievements and market application value in an intuitive way, helping the inspector group gain a more vivid understanding of the company’s product technologies.
Next, technical experts from the R&D Center focused on the core technologies of “MCS original high-end pressure sensors and GU27 pressure transmitters”. They elaborated on the product R&D concept, technical breakthroughs and application scenarios, demonstrating the company’s strong capabilities in technological innovation.
In the special seminar and free exchange session, both parties had a lively discussion around key issues in intellectual property work. Our company’s team put forward practical problems encountered in daily work, such as difficulties in patent application and standards for determining patent validity. Meanwhile, our cooperative agency lawyers reviewed the entire process of appeal and rights protection based on real cases of intellectual property infringement, and analyzed the challenges faced during the rights protection process. Drawing on their professional experience, the NIPA inspector group gave detailed interpretations on common patent examination issues, examination standards and the logic for judging inventiveness, and answered the questions raised by Chinastar M&C one by one, providing professional guidance for the company’s subsequent intellectual property work.
At the end of the event, all participants took a group photo together, bringing this exchange activity to a successful conclusion. This practical exchange not only built a communication bridge between enterprises and intellectual property examination institutions, but also provided valuable insights for Chinastar M&C to further optimize intellectual property management and strengthen the protection of technological innovation. In the future, Chinastar M&C will continue to deepen its intellectual property strategy, with technological innovation as the core and intellectual property as the guarantee, to continuously deepen its efforts in the sensor field and contribute to the high-quality development of the industry.
