On September 21, an eight-year-old girl was killed in a well accident in a neighborhood in Xi'an. On the night of the incident, the girl, after attending a classmate's birthday party, was playing hide-and-seek with several children in the neighborhood courtyard when she accidentally fell into a fire well in the greenbelt. Another child found, rushed to adults for help. Homeowners joined forces to rescue the girl. From the girl fell into the well to be rescued, about half an hour or so. Subsequently, the girl was carried away on a 120 stretcher to save her life, but eventually passed away.
After the incident, the community property sealed the well with two steel plates and pressed a few bricks.
