Tomorrow is the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2024, and it has been nearly three months since I last wrote an article on Shaanxi Sensor Internet of Things! The summer in Xi'an this year is a bit of an anomaly, summer seems to cover most of the spring and fall, and now it's already 9:30 p.m., and the room doesn't seem to have a cool autumn feeling.
Back to the topic of sensors and IoT, on September 11th, Shaanxi Provincial Association of Science and Technology (SPAST) held its 2024 Annual Conference in Baoji, China. At the conference, the Vice Chairman of SPAST, Prof. Zhao Xiangmo, President of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology (XUAST) announced the establishment of “Shaanxi Sensors and IoT Industry Alliance” by the Chairman of SPAST, Prof. Jiang Zhuangde, and the Chairman of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), Mr. Gu Rongxiang. Mr. Jiang Zhande formally awarded the license to Mr. Gu Rongxiang, General Manager of Xi'an Chinastar M&C Company and Chairman of the First Provincial Association for Science and Technology Sensor and Internet of Things Industry Alliance.
Professionals know that academician Jiang Zhande is also a big expert in China's sensor industry, in mems high temperature pressure sensors, acceleration sensors and other aspects have high attainments. Of course, more understanding of the role of sensors and the Internet of Things in the future technological revolution.
Industry insiders may know, in 2011 Shaanxi Province, the Department of Industry and Information Technology approved the establishment of Shaanxi Province Internet of Things Industry Alliance, which has been running for more than ten years, and has played a considerable role in promoting the development of the Internet of Things industry in Shaanxi Province. Today, the provincial Association for Science and Technology and approved the establishment of “Shaanxi Province Sensor and Internet of Things Industry Alliance” has a new meaning. First of all, this year, the Shaanxi Provincial Government has merged the two industrial chains of sensors and the Internet of Things together to become the Shaanxi Provincial Sensors and Internet of Things Industrial Chain, as one of the key industrial chains for the future development of Shaanxi Province. The newly established alliance of the provincial Association for Science and Technology is to further transform the technology of Shaanxi scientists into productivity, and further empower scientists with the industry.
Similarly, on September 11th, Liu Liqi, the head of the Shaanxi Sensor and Internet of Things Industry Alliance, went to Xiamen to participate in the IOT China Joint Business Meeting to further strengthen the communication and contact between the Shaanxi Alliance and more than 30 different provincial and municipal Internet of Things associations and alliances across the country, and to learn from the experience of other alliances and associations, and to promote the rapid development of the sensor Internet of Things industry in Shaanxi Province under the new situation.
September 10, the provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice on the collection of sensors and the Internet of Things in the field of standardization needs, requiring the province's sensors and the Internet of Things R & D, production and application units in accordance with their respective situations to declare the relevant standards. Leading technology standards first, the industry to be strong, the standard should be high.
On July 23rd, Xi'an Chinastar M&C Company, the “chain master” enterprise of the Internet of Sensors and Things in Shaanxi Province, participated in the biannual Van Paul Airshow in the United Kingdom, and exhibited high-end MCS pressure sensors and its GU series of pressure transmitters which can be widely used in aviation and aerospace.
On June 28th, Xu Mingfei, vice governor of the provincial government, presided over a meeting of the pension industry, and Xi'an Chinastar M&C Company, the “chain master” of the Internet of Things industry chain in Shaanxi Province, was invited to attend the meeting, at which the “Filial Piety as the First Priority” recommended by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and the Health Commission of the People's Republic of China was introduced. The “Elderly Intelligent Connection Machine” is recommended by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Civil Affairs and Health Commission. As the intelligent terminal of IOT application, the elderly smart machine will play a greater role in the “silver hair economy”.
On June 13th, Mr. Gao Ling, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), led a team to Baoji to investigate the sensors and Internet of Things related industries. Visited Shaanxi Baoji Aviation Instrumentation, Micro Sensors Corporation, Aerospace High-end Packaging Industrial Park and Western Sensor Industrial Park.
On June 5, ten IoT-related enterprises from Shaanxi Province organized by the Department of Commerce of Shaanxi Province went to San Francisco to participate in the U.S. IoT Technology Expo, exhibiting relevant hardware and software technologies and IoT solutions.
Among them, Xi'an Chinastar M&C Company, the “chain master” of Shaanxi Internet of Things industry chain, exhibited smart city, smart neighborhood, intelligent well cover monitoring system, and urban flooding intelligent monitoring system, which was noticed by CGTN, the international channel of China Central Television (CCTV), and reported on the relevant channels of North American television for six minutes.
June 10th to 12th, the annual German sensor exhibition sensor+test, Shaanxi Province, there are four companies participated in the world's largest sensor exhibition, including Baoji Micro, AVIC Electro-Measurement, Baoji XinyuTeng and Xi'an Chinastar M&C Company. The development of sensors and Internet of Things in Shaanxi Province, out of China, to the world is an inevitable trend.
