Recently, sensors in China have indeed become increasingly popular. The World Internet of Things Expo hosted by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province and the Government of Wuxi City in late October also recognized the importance of sensors, and thus opened a sensor museum and held multiple sensor forums; Following that was the multi country instrument exhibition organized by the China Instrument and Meter Society in Beijing. Sensors, as the most important front-end input of instruments and meters, were undoubtedly the highlight, and the Advanced Sensor Forum was also held at the same time; On November 5th, the World Sensor Conference and Exhibition hosted by the People's Government of Henan Province and the China Instrumentation Society in Zhengzhou had already held six sessions, and its sub venues were also grand; Today, I flew from Xi'an to Shenzhen to participate in the China Sensor and Internet of Things Industry Alliance and the Shenzhen Sensor Application Conference hosted by the Shenzhen Municipal Government; On the 13th, a MEMS sensor conference and corresponding exhibitions will also be held in Chongqing. These activities have greatly promoted the development of sensor technology and industry in China, awakened the general public's understanding of sensors, stimulated the attention of local governments to sensors, stimulated investment in sensors by investment institutions, and aroused the enthusiasm of young people for the sensor industry and industry. The sensor industry is still a niche industry. Due to well-known reasons, there are many varieties that are widely used but scattered, and few but unique. People who work in the sensor industry should have some emotions and aspirations, especially for companies that have persisted for 7 or 8 years or more. Last night, dozens of sensor professionals from all over the country discussed how to develop the sensor industry in Tian'an Yungu, Guangming District, Shenzhen. This is an old topic, as well as a new one. The Eight Immortals cross the sea, each displaying their own abilities, without a unified simple and feasible standard. However, benchmarking against companies that have already developed and grown abroad, benchmarking against companies that have already gone public in China, and benchmarking against companies that are better than themselves, learning and researching should be a basic idea. Innovation not only requires technological innovation, but also management innovation and innovative ways of thinking.

Today is Saturday, and the second Sensor and Application Technology Conference is being held at the Tian'an Yungu Conference Center in Guangming District, Shenzhen. Although it is the weekend, Shenzhen is indeed different from other cities in the country, as young people have a very high enthusiasm for learning. The sub forum on sensors and energy storage applications in the morning was originally intended to have a small number of attendees, but in reality, it was filled with joy rather than trouble.

Energy storage, whether physical or chemical, is a new type of industry. Under the influence of the "dual carbon" economy, the energy storage industry has developed rapidly, bringing many development opportunities for sensors. In the summary by Zhu Jiaqi, Deputy Secretary General of the Alliance, typical companies in China that have applied sensors in the field of electrochemical energy storage were briefly described.

More than 400 people attended the second main conference on sensors and application technology in the afternoon. Guo Yuansheng, Executive Vice Chairman of the China Sensor and Internet of Things Industry Alliance, and Secretary Cai of the Shenzhen Guangming District Party Committee attended the theme meeting almost entirely. Since last year, Guangming District has been building a sensor industry base, creating an atmosphere for the development of the sensor industry, and constructing an organizational model for the development of the sensor industry.

The sensor industry is already very popular in China, with about 30 cities, including prefecture level cities, shouting for the development of sensors. But who can truly do a good job in the sensor industry? Who can lead China's sensor industry? It is indeed an unsolved mystery. Sensors, as basic components or modules, or further instruments, must have end customer applications, whether in the automotive, consumer electronics, or industrial fields. Without applications, there is no value in the sensor industry. Shenzhen is also actively promoting cooperation between upstream and downstream enterprises within the regional scope. So more than a dozen companies participated in the signing ceremony of the intelligent sensor purchase order instrument. I wonder if the government will provide certain financial subsidies to the purchasing party next year?

BYD's intelligent driving cars, Mindray's high-end medical equipment, and Sugikawa's service robots (sweeping robots) all require many different types of sensors for typical modern terminal devices. This will greatly motivate sensor front-end enterprises to actively follow up on research and development. The sensor industry in Shenzhen should focus on application driven research and development, expanding applications through close cooperation between both parties. Sensors will have a grand future.
