Small Talk about Sensor While Travelling (141)

The Paris Air Show has been around for 110 years, and this year is the 55th, once every two years, and is known as the world's largest aerospace exhibition. According to Air Show Magazine, there are more than 2,300 global companies participating in the air show this year. There are 5 indoor exhibition halls in total, and some large companies, such as Airbus, Lockheed Martin, and their own independent exhibition halls.

The sensor guy should care about the sensors first. Brother Gu took the time to browse all 5 indoor static exhibition halls today, but it is difficult to guarantee that they have seen them all. It would be good if they can reach 80%.

Whether it is this year's Paris Air Show or last year's British Air Show, most of the exhibitors in the entire air show are spare parts, especially mechanical spare parts and structural parts. Compared with the few electronic supporting manufacturers, there are fewer sensor manufacturers. However, last year, Zhuhai Air Show had more finished products and a lot of drones.

In addition to the American Coulite Company and the British Drucker Company mentioned in the official account article yesterday, today I also saw two more familiar companies from Switzerland TE Company and the United States Amfino Company.

But these two large companies emphasize more on their connectors than sensors, and the products on display are far more types of connectors than sensors.

Anfino Company covers a larger area than TE Company, and there are many people participating in the exhibition, with more types of exhibitions than TE Company, and the booth design of TE Company appears simple.

Both of these big companies started with connectors, and then became a recognized sensor company by continuously acquiring various sensor companies around the world. TE's acquisition work is earlier than that of Anfino, and TE's sensor products are much more than that of Anfino. Of course, in recent years, Anfino has also been speeding up its acquisition work.

There is also an unknown company that only exhibited liquid level switches, which occupied a considerable territory. In our opinion, this technology cannot be raised. Do we also need to detect the fuel tank level of the aircraft in this way? Brother Gu had never heard of this company before, and he couldn't even spell out the English pinyin of their company.

In addition, there are weighing sensors and torque sensors exhibited by a Belgian company. But when I asked if there was any dynamic torque, that is, the product that rotated and measured torque, their director said there was no one yet.

In the United Exhibition Area of the United States, I also saw a pressure sensor, but the reception staff was from the French UE Company. It is speculated that the French company is an agent for them, but it is not clear about the real name of the Connecticut company.

Due to the characteristics of sensor technology and product application industries, sensor companies have become larger. Most of them have to be completed through acquisitions, otherwise they can only become small and beautiful companies that are specialized and innovative. There are many sensor companies like Europe and the United States, and China is now in its development stage.

In addition, Gu Ge once again talked about a major event that had nothing to do with sensors that happened at the 2025 Paris Air Show, and even an explosive news at this year's Paris Air Show.

It should be that on June 13, Israel launched a large-scale air strike on Iran, killing many senior Iranian military officials and nuclear scientists, which aroused anger and protests from many countries in the world. Of course, Europe also responded.

The Israeli country participated in this Paris Air Show and had its own independent exhibition area. The area of the Israel National Pavilion exceeded 1,000 square meters. On the evening of June 15th. All Israel's products are in place and are ready to participate in the air show on Day 16. However, to their great surprise, after entering the venue in the morning, all the open spaces of the Israeli National Exhibition Hall were closed by the exhibition organizers in black cloth, and police were guarded by them, and hundreds of exhibitors from different Israeli companies were not allowed to enter the exhibition area.
